  • Turning loss into profit within a year

    Our client Bettal Quality Consultancy are a compliance systems provider of CQC Policies and Procedures for the care sector. Customers include domiciliary care and residential care homes, learning disabilities and mental health services as well as personal plans and day services.

    The challenge

    Almost all clients want to win more business. And Bettal was no different. They wanted to increase awareness, hold on to existing customers and win new customers.

    The results

    During the last regular meeting with our client, this is what they had to say…

    “Before we worked with angelfysh we were making a loss. We now win an average of 6 new customers every single month which is unheard of.”

    And to put this into perspective, these 6 new customers for Bettal results in a 20-times return on investment for them each month.

    How do we do this?

    With a mixture of Search Engine Optimisation of the existing website, regular Blogging, Social Media Marketing along with Google AdWords and Facebook Advertising that direct prospective customers to a landing page which help convert enquiries into sales.

  • Old Autumn House climbs 1,804 places in Google (in 2 months)

    After weeks of liaising with the Old Autumn House design/development team to ensure that Laura’s new website would be search engine friendly and ready for Google, we launched the website in April 2015.

    Two months on and the groundwork is starting to pay off… Old Autumn House has climbed 1,804 places in Google for the search terms and keywords that we want to be found for. These are phrases that people are actually searching Google for (very important this) meaning that sales from the new website are on the increase too.

  • How do you make £1 turn into £35.10?

    angelfysh put you (the client) first. It’s in our slogan and it’s in our day-to-day, too.

    £1 turns into £35.10

    It means we get to know you and your business before we do a thing. We really do understand business of course – but we don’t understand your business until we’ve grilled and prodded and poked.

    It’s the approach we took with small-but-growing Old Autumn House and it’s the approach we took with big-but-still-growing Sage Gateshead.

    And as a result, here’s what happened with Sage Gateshead…

    The number of transactions (people that bought concert tickets online) increased by 22.14% between April 2014 and March 2015 (12 months).

    Revenue overall (cold-hard-cash!) increased by 30.65% between April 2014 and March 2015 (12 months). That’s almost a seven figure uplift in sales within one year.

    Revenue from Organic Search alone (Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.) (cold-hard-cash!) increased by 105.13% between April 2014 and March 2015 (12 months). This means that SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) alone got this sales increase. This is significant because SEO is often seen as something that takes ages to get results. Not here.

    Website visitors from Organic Search (Google, Bing, Yahoo etc.) increased by 71.25% between April 2014 and March 2015 (12 months). Again, this means that SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) alone got this increase in visitors. This again is significant because SEO is often seen as something that takes ages to get results. And again, not here. It also reveals that driving more of the right kinds of people to the website converts better (71% increase in visitors resulting in a 105% increase in cash sales/revenue).

    The cost to Sage Gateshead

    And what did this cost Sage Gateshead? Their spend with angelfysh was just under 3% of the online sales increase for the same, 12 month period. Or to put it another way, investing in angelfysh represented a 3,410% return on investment.

    Or to put it another way, for every £1 that Sage Gateshead invested in angelfysh, for the period between April 2014 and March 2015 (12 months), that £1 turned into £35.10.

    Which just goes to show – when you put the client first – the results can be fabulous!

  • So what does success look like for you?

    The thing that is consistent across all angelfysh clients is that they have ambition. They all want more than they have now.

    And so they should.

    Success - what does it look like for you?

    But; ambition for what?

    It is however amazing how different ‘success’ looks for each of them.

    Some angelfysh clients want to sell more.
    Some angelfysh clients want to change how they are perceived; from ‘this’ to ‘that’.
    Some angelfysh clients want to change the kinds of enquiry that they get, from one sort of business customer to another sort.
    Some angelfysh clients want to target precise demographics online and get an unfair share of the attention amongst a particular target group.

    All of the above are legitimate ambitions and objectives of course – and all require a different strategic approach to make them happen.

    That’s why angelfysh put you first. We want to know what you want.

In the space of 9 months angelfysh achieved a 102% increase in revenue generated directly from organic search (Google, Bing and Yahoo).   • 47% Revenue increase in 4 months

    angelfysh has been working with Sage Gateshead now for 4 months on improving search engine visibility and helping the website to convert more visitors into ticket sales.

    To say we’re pleased with how things are going is an understatement.

    During the months of May, June, July and August 2014 there’s been an increase of 47% in revenue generated from ticket sales alone compared to the same period in 2013.

    Of course we can’t take all the credit as Sage Gateshead have their own strong marketing team and also work with Newcastle based Brand Consultants Violet Bick.
